This summer has been a busy one for Paris Saint-Germain, with the notable additions to improve their squad. However, the capital club will need to see departures, which have begun with the transfer of Mitchel Bakker to Bayer Leverkusen.
Another player that can be joining Bakker on the departure list is Rafinha. The 28-year-old hasn’t fit into manager Mauricio Pochettino’s rotation and as a result, is a name that is likely to leave.
Reports link the midfielder to various clubs, the latest being U.S. Sassuolo Calcio. According to Corriere dello Sport (via Paris Fans), the Serie A side is putting together a target list that could replace the potentially departing Manuel Locatelli.
Despite having an interest in Rafinha, Sassuolo views the Brazil international as a Plan B. The Italian club currently has eyes on another Brazilian midfielder in Matheus Fernandes.
Sassuolo wants to secure a midfielder for a price of €10-million, so should they pursue Rafinha, this is the amount that they’ll be looking to spend.
