Paris Saint-Germain could be on the verge of adding some right-back depth to their squad. Discussions between PSG and RB Leipzig are progressing well over Nordi Mukiele.
According to RMC Sport, the French giants are negotiating a loan with an automatic purchase option. The report states the transfer amount is between €10 million and €15 million for the 24-year-old with one more year left on his current contract.
Mukiele would bring depth to the right-back position, which only has Achraf Hakimi, so they’ll need someone to alternate with him throughout the season. The possible arrival of the Leipzig defender would mean another French talent coming into the fold.
Last week, PSG added Hugo Ekitike to the squad as the 20-year-old will be counted on to score goals and be the striker for them now and into the future. Nonetheless, when it comes to Mukiele, it seems the deal is progressing in the right direction, and it’s only a matter of time before an agreement is secured.
