Premier League: Latest on Chelsea’s Hakim Ziyech to PSG as Moroccan Teammate Played Role In Potential Transfer

There are a few hours until the January transfer window closes and Paris Saint-Germain sporting advisor Luis Campos is pushing to land a couple of players to reinforce the squad. One of the possible arrivals is Hakim Ziyech.

Ziyech reportedly favors a move to the French capital and perhaps one of the reasons could be his Morocco national teammate Achraf Hakimi. Le Parisien reported on Tuesday that should Chelsea and PSG agree to a deal, the forward is prepared to finalize the move.

Additionally, the French media outlet adds that Hakimi has sold the 29-year-old winger to the Ligue 1 side. As a result, the 2022 FIFA World Cup semifinalist reportedly arrived late Monday evening in Paris to prepare for a possible transfer.

The possible arrival of the Chelsea man would fill the role left behind by Pablo Sarabia, who left this month to join Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Along with attempting to ensure a Ziyech deal, PSG is also looking to secure Milan Skriniar, as the 27-year-old has already agreed to a contract for next season. However, the French giants would like to not wait until the summer.

Campos has a lot on his hands; it will be interesting to see if he can push these transfers across the finish line.
