Champions League: Pundit Reveals Only Way PSG Can Defeat Bayern Munich

Paris Saint-Germain isn’t giving good vibes to fans and media pundits ahead of their first leg Round of 16 clash in the UEFA Champions League against FC Bayern Munich on Tuesday at the Parc des Princes.

The capital club crashed out in the Coupe de France Round of 16, losing 2-1 to Olympique de Marseille on Wednesday at the Stade Vélodrome. As a result, PSG isn’t giving good vibes heading into their first leg UEFA Champions League contest against FC Bayern Munich.

Nonetheless, After Foot RMC pundit Rolland Courbis believes there’s one way that the French giants come away with a positive result when they battle the Bundesliga side next week.

“[Wednesday’s] PSG or PSG against Toulouse [last Saturday], in the current formula, with this diamond and Vitinha in number ten, you have no chance of beating Bayern Munich,” Courbis said on Thursday’s episode (h/t Canal Supporters).

“We must remember the formula at the start of the season with three center-backs and two midfielders in front of the defense, Vitinha and Verratti. Failing to have a good solution, let’s try to find the least bad. And the least bad is the organization of PSG for the first five months. Not that of the last four or five weeks because it is not an organization; it is disorganization.”

The matchup against Bayern Munich will be the most significant task for manager Christophe Galtier. After crashing out in the domestic cup, the French tactician will need to win the matchup, or else questions about whether he should remain will arise.
