Report: PSG’s Projected Starting 11 vs. Marseille – Who Will Replace Neymar?

On the heels of a dramatic home win over Lille OSC, Paris Saint-Germain will now hit the road for an away showdown against Olympique de Marseille on Ligue 1 matchday 25.

PSG heads into this match with a few injury concerns. For one, Neymar will not feature in this edition of Le Classique, as he is still nursing the ankle injury he suffered during PSG’s victory over Lille OSC.

As noted by RMC Sport, PSG manager Christophe Galtier could call on these 11 players to start against Marseille.

Donnarumma; Mukiele, Kimpembe, Marquinhos, Ramos, Bernat; Vitinha, Verratti, Ruiz; Messi, Mbappe

Fabian Ruiz has emerged as a reliable midfielder for the reigning Ligue 1 champions as of late, starting in four out of the team’s six fixtures so far in February. He could be called on to help lead PSG’s midfield against Marseille.

With Neymar ruled out against Marseille, Galtier will once again have to rely on Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe to lead the way upfront. The two forwards combined to score three out of PSG’s four goals in the home win over Lille OSC.

PSG has picked up a win in four out of its last six meetings against Marseille in all competitions.
