Kylian Mbappe Has Reached New Goal Scoring Heights, Stat Shows

Kylian Mbappé is one of the best goal scorers in the world, but Paris Saint-Germain made Ligue 1 history after his game-winning goal against Stade Brestois on Saturday Stade Francis Le Blé.

The 24-year-old took a pass from Lionel Messi, who also reached an incredible personal accomplishment on the assist, then used his speed to bypass the defense and then beat the goalkeeper for the goal.

With 138 goals in 165 games, Mbappé has equaled Edinson Cavani (138 in 200 games) as PSG’s most prolific player in Ligue 1.

The achievement comes on the heels of the France international becoming PSG’s all-time leading goal scorer against FC Nantes on March 4. However, these individual feats have a sour undertone considering the French giants crashed out in the UEFA Champions League Round of 16 again.

As a result, this latest accomplishment from Mbappé might go under the radar and not many will realize what the PSG star has achieved until he’s long retired and supporters can reflect on his career.
