Paris Saint-Germain sporting advisor Luis Campos appears ready to overhaul the attack and build the unit around Kylian Mbappé this summer with the possible exits of Lionel Messi and Neymar Jr.
TUTTOmercatoWEB reported on Tuesday, citing sources, that Campos recently met with Roberto Calenda, the agent of Napoli star Victor Osimhen. The two men met to discuss the player’s future and if a deal would be possible in the summer.
Additionally, Napoli knew about the meeting between the men, as the Italian club will likely receive offers for the 24-year-old goal scorer. Calenda knows Campos as they worked on the deal that brought Osimhen to the Campania capital from Lille OSC.
Osimhen has made it clear that he’d like to play in the Premier League in the future, but a lucrative offer from the French giants may tempt him should one arrive in the summer.
If Mbappé wants to play a more free role and the possible exits of Messi and Neymar, then grabbing a striker, which the Nigerian international can fill, will be atop the transfer wishlist for Campos.
