Napoli forward Victor Osimhen has garnered interest from multiple European powerhouse clubs amid his ongoing standout campaign in Serie A this season. For one, Paris Saint-Germain has reportedly pinpointed Osimhen as its “priority” for the upcoming summer transfer window, but the Nigerian international reportedly does not view the Ligue 1 side in the same way.
According to FootMercato, Osimhen has listed the Premier League as his top “priority” for this year’s summer transfer window.
FootMercato adds that Osimhen has penciled in Bayern Munich and PSG at second and third respectively on his transfer priority list.
The report also notes that PSG football advisor Luis Campos is close to reaching an agreement with Osimhen’s agent, Roberto Calenda, on a contract deal for the Nigerian forward. However, this would be just the first step to bringing Osimhen to the reigning Ligue 1 champions, as Campos would also need to both convince the forward to join the club and meet Napoli’s reported price demand of a €150 million transfer fee for the talent.
From Napoli’s standpoint, the club would like to keep Osimhen for at least another season. Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis noted earlier this month that keeping the versatile forward with the current Serie A leaders “won’t be difficult.”
Osimhen currently leads Serie A in goals this season with 21. He has two more years left on his contract at Napoli.
