Hugo Ekitike Reportedly Reveals Plans for Next Season Amid Bundesliga Interest

Hugo Ekitike has great potential, which is why the 20-year-old draws interest from several Bundesliga clubs. Eintracht Frankfurt, RB Leipzig, Wolfsburg, and Bayer Leverkusen are rumored to be in on the striker.

Even so, Ekitike might not be keen on leaving for Germany or any other place, as Foot Mercato reported on Saturday has yet to receive any news or intentions from Luis Campos for the 2023-24 season.

Nonetheless, the France international intends to stay in Paris next season and try to snatch a starting place regardless of the expected arrivals at the striker position.

The ambition is clear: To win in the Parisian jersey. One thing is sure, Ekitike is not scared today by the competition present at the club and potentially reinforced during the summer transfer window.

PSG landed Ekitike on a loan deal with a €35 million obligation to buy clause that will begin on July 1 and keeps the young goal scorer until 2027. The capital club cannot make the mistakes it has made with past young players.

While Ekitike has shown flashes of potential, they cannot allow him to leave and turn into what Xavi Simons, Moussa Diaby and Christopher Nkunku, flourishing at other clubs when they receive the proper playing time.
