A multitude of rumors have been swirling as of late in the unpredictable world of the transfer market. For one, Neymar was recently linked with Manchester United. The Premier League side has reportedly opened up discussions with Paris Saint-Germain over the possibility of bringing in the Brazilian forward during this year’s summer transfer window.
Fulham winger Willian has taken notice of these rumors. Willian, who was a teammate of Neymar’s with the Brazil national team, believes (via Bein Sports) that the PSG star has what it takes to shine at Manchester United.
“Neymar, with the quality he has, performs anywhere,” Willian said. “Wherever he goes in the world, with his quality and talent, he can easily perform.
“It would be really cool to see him play in the Premier League. He has a place in any team in the world thanks to his qualities. You only need to know if he wants to go to [Manchester United].”
Neymar still has four years left on his contract at PSG, and he is reportedly earning €56.36 million (gross) per season on his deal.
Chelsea has also been in the rumor mill with Neymar, although it is currently not known whether club owner Todd Boehly has any interest in acquiring the Brazilian international in the coming months.
