Report Reveals Just Why PSG Will Not Sign This Manchester United Transfer Target

Paris Saint-Germain has put an end to its transfer interest of Napoli center-back Kim Min-jae, according to RMC Sport.

PSG was linked with the South Korean international for months. PSG football advisor Luis Campos reportedly went as far as setting up a meeting with Min-jae’s agent last month, although the two sides did not come to terms on a contract agreement for the defender.

Now, PSG has reportedly decided not to push to sign the coveted Napoli center-back because he is “too expensive.” PSG will instead turn its full attention to Bayern Munich defender Lucas Hernandez. The RMC Sport report adds that Hernandez “wants to join PSG.”

Min-jae has bolstered his transfer value in his ongoing first season at Napoli, featuring in 35 matches of the club’s Serie A-winning campaign.

It remains to be seen whether the versatile defender will stay put at Napoli past this year’s summer transfer window. He has been linked with a few clubs as of late, including Manchester United.

Overall, Min-jae is slated to take part in Napoli’s final match of its season, as it will meet Sampdoria on Serie A matchday 38.
