PSG’s Kang-in Lee Taking the Korean Football Icon Baton from Tottenham Star?

Tottenham Hotspur star Son Heung-min is the face of South Korean football. However, the winger is 31 and only has a few years left in his prime years, so who is next in line?

Son eventually took the baton from Park Ji-sung, and who will take it from the Spurs winger? Well, all eyes are on Paris Saint-Germain’s Kang-in Lee to become the next face of South Korean football.

A Korea Herald reporter told French media outlet L’Equipe that now, with Lee at PSG, everyone in the country is really convinced that after Park and Son, he will be the next star of Korean football.

The 22-year-old recently scored and assisted in Thursday’s 5-0 win over Singapore. Lee’s recent form isn’t getting lost on people. Son also commented on his compatriot’s good form in recent weeks.

Furthermore, PSG’s sporting advisor, Luis Campos, revealed the effort he invested to secure the acquisition of the South Korean player in an interview with Le Parisien. So, it is safe to say that everyone knows Lee’s potential.
