Lille OSC defender Leny Yoro is in the rumor mill linking him to Paris Saint-Germain. While moving to the capital has yet to be ruled out, it won’t happen when the January transfer window opens in a few weeks.
Yoro wants to finish the current season with Lille. Les Dogues are fighting for a UEFA Champions League spot next season. They sit in fourth place, which is a qualification position. However, they are also one point behind Monaco, who is in an automatic spot.
So, it wouldn’t be the wisest decision to weaken their squad for the second half of the 2023-24 season. Nonetheless, next summer could be when Yoro leaves, as he’s under contract with Lille until 2025.
How much would the teenager cost? L’Equipe de Greg reports that the Ligue 1 side will put the starting price between €40 million and €50 million. Furthermore, PSG, Real Madrid, and an English club will be in the race to land the talented Frenchman.

Foot Mercato’s Santi Aouna and Sébastien Denis recently reported that Yoro is the Parisians’ priority. His profile is unanimous internally, and the Ligue 1 side wants to get ahead of the competition. It will be interesting to see if PSG decides pursuing Yoro is worth the wait.
