Barcelona Scout Raves About PSG’s Goalkeeper Arnau Ténas

Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Arnau Ténas has two starts under his belt with the French giants. Slowly, everyone is beginning to see what quality traits the 22-year-old possesses.

In two appearances, Ténas has only conceded one goal, and although he had to leave FC Barcelona for more playing time, one recruiter for the Spanish giants believes PSG might have a gem on their hands.

Is Arnau Ténas a goalkeeper with zero flaws?

The recruiter noted that the Spanish international doesn’t have many glaring weaknesses in his eyes. As a result, these remarks would be music to PSG’s ears, considering the flaws Gianluigi Donnarumma has shown in recent weeks.

“He is a very balanced goalkeeper who has no faults,” Bojan Krkic Senior said (h/t Le10Sport). “And above all, he has a formidable kicking game, and this was very quickly identified in Barcelona.”

It will be interesting to see what manager Luis Enrique decides to do and whether Ténas starts against Borussia Dortmund next week, considering what’s at stake for the Ligue 1 side.

Even if Donnarumma gets the start, knowing what Ténas can bring between the pipes could have the Italian on a short leash if more mental mistakes continue.

  1. I don’t understand why is Donnaruma starting over Navas in the first place? PSG has this guy and NAVAS! Wake up, Enrique or start getting in touch with Cadiz or Mallorca.
