Frankfurt’s Bold Bid Against Wolverhampton and Nottingham Forest for PSG Outcast

The January transfer window closes on Wednesday, and everyone wonders whether Paris Saint-Germain will let go of striker Hugo Ekitike. The young Frenchman didn’t leave during last summer’s transfer window and hasn’t played at all this 2023-24 season.

For Ekitike to steer his career in the right direction, he must leave the French capital. Even though he hasn’t been on the pitch, there’s still attention from clubs interested in the former Stade de Reims goal-scorer.

German side Eintracht Frankfurt is one of the clubs keen on the 21-year-old. L’Equipe reports that the Bundesliga club is confident of reaching an agreement with PSG for Ekitike’s loan.

Nonetheless, Frankfurt isn’t the only club keen on the PSG forward, as Le10Sport recently reported that Wolverhampton Wanderers are making a concerted effort to persuade the promising young striker from PSG to join their ranks.

Moreover, Nottingham Forest is heavily pursuing the signing of Ekitike. In the coming hours, it’ll be intriguing to see whether Frankfurt manages to secure the player amidst tough competition or if another club swoops in.
