PSG Chief Addresses Mbappé Saga Amid Liverpool, Real Madrid Rumors

The Kylian Mbappé transfer saga is beginning to take that rollercoaster ride that many likely expected. Nonetheless, Paris Saint-Germain president Nasser Al-Khelaïfi spoke about his mindset regarding the saga involving the 25-year-old.

On Sunday, a report noted that Mbappé had agreed to a contract with Real Madrid. However, on Monday, there were reports debunking the information, whether it’s due to coincidence or design, Al-Khelaïfi appeared on the Rothen s’enflamme. Obviously, one of the questions was about the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner.

“Of course, I want Kylian Mbappé to stay, certainly,” Al-Khelaïfi said on the French media outlet. “For me, he is the best player in the world, and for me, the best club for Kylian is Paris. He’s at the center of our project.”

ESPN’s Julien Laurens recently reported the latest on the file. According to Laurens, Mbappé will resolve his future in the coming weeks, with Real Madrid and Liverpool emerging as the primary contenders should he part ways with PSG.

Moreover, he suggests that Real Madrid leads the race. Despite this, Mbappé has a longstanding admiration for Liverpool and Jurgen Klopp. Consequently, he keeps the possibility of a move to the Premier League open.
