Neymar, the ex-Paris Saint-Germain standout, has directed criticism towards his prior club and teammate, Kylian Mbappé, by endorsing a post that disapproves of the capital club’s management practices and perceived bias towards Mbappé, as per a report from RMC Sport.
Currently sidelined with a knee injury while playing for Saudi Pro League team Al Hilal, Neymar has taken the opportunity to subtly criticize his former club and teammate.
“PSG is an example of how to run a football club,” the post said. “They managed to assemble the best players and had the best team in the world. When the team started to function well, the ego of a “Certain Frenchman” began to sour the atmosphere. Mbappé began to feel excluded, most of the team spoke Spanish and he threatened to quit.
“In order to avoid losing it’s crown jewel, PSG started to sell players who were not aligned with Mbappé’s way of thinking and instead signed the French players that he wanted. After the club did everything he wanted, Mbappé told PSG he’d be leaving at the end of the season. This is what is left of PSG.”

Mbappé will reportedly leave the French giants this summer when his contract with the Parisians expires in June. Transfer window specialist Fabrizio Romano revealed what went into the Frenchman’s decision. The journalist notes that the primary theme for an exit is wanting a change of scenery.
During his six-season stint with the French champions, Neymar featured in 173 matches, netting 118 goals and assisting 77 times.
However, persistent injuries, discontent rumors, and ego clashes overshadowed the Brazilian’s time in Paris. Despite his remarkable statistical achievements, many view his tenure as unfulfilled.
