PSG Prepares to Battle Arsenal, Tottenham for AC Milan Sensation

Paris Saint-Germain are no stranger to scooping up teenage prodigies and bringing them into their youth system. This strategy enabled the club to acquire Xavi Simons from FC Barcelona. Could they replicate this success by signing another promising youngster from AC Milan’s system?

A recent report revealed that PSG are interested in Francesco Camarda but face stiff competition from many top European clubs. The 16-year-old made history this season when he became the youngest player to play in a Serie A match.

Nonetheless, his representatives now want to know where the teenager stands in the Italian club’s project. The player is now eligible to sign his first professional contract, and Foot Mercato reports that AC Milan remains in pole position to retain his services. Still, stiff European competition has entered the fray.

The report adds that Arsenal, Manchester City, Tottenham, Borussia Dortmund, and PSG closely monitor Camarda’s future. Inter Milan and Juventus are equally determined to snatch the young talent from their Serie A rival.

This sets the stage for an intense battle for several reasons. However, PSG, under Luis Campos, have consistently invested in young and shrewd talent, like Lucas Beraldo in defense or Cher Ndour in midfield last summer, but refuses to concede defeat just yet.
