Bayern Munich and PSG Wrestle Over Details in Mukiele Transfer Negotiations

Paris Saint-Germain might lose Nordi Mukiele during the January transfer window. Although the capital club has the option to prevent his departure, reports suggest they are considering potential replacements if they decide to let Mukiele go.

Transfer window specialist Fabrizio Romano reported that Mukiele strongly desires to join Bayern Munich. The deal’s completion depends on PSG’s decision regarding negotiating a loan with a purchase clause. Furthermore, Paris is actively searching for a replacement.

Nonetheless, apart from finding a replacement, there’s also a difference in the type of deal to complete the transfer. According to French journalist Saber Desfarges, PSG desires to incorporate a mandatory purchase clause in Mukiele’s loan agreement.

At the same time, Bayern Munich proposes a six-month loan deal with a buy-option clause. This difference is one of the current stumbling blocks, and negotiations are ongoing.

Desfarges also reports that PSG is interested in the 23-year-old right back from Galatasaray. However, clubs in England, including Arsenal, are keeping an eye on the Frenchman, which could make him too costly for a backup.
