What to Expect From Mbappé In PSG’s Remaining Matches

If reports are to be believed, Kylian Mbappé is entering the last couple of months as a Paris Saint-Germain player as Real Madrid are expected to sign him this summer on a free transfer. The end of the season is quickly approaching, so what can PSG supporters expect from the French superstar in the last few matches?

Betting on Mbappé? Expert Analysis and Smart Bets on PSG Stars with MGA Bonuses

Until the end of the season, there’s several opportunities for football fans to use MGA casino bonuses. Let’s start with the UEFA Champions League where PSG face an uphill battle against FC Barcelona after losing 3-2 in the first leg at the Parc des Princes. I like Mbappé to make up for that poor performance and score at least one goal to get PSG back into the tie. In Ligue 1 competition, where six matches remain, I don’t think Mbappé will play a full 90 minutes in any of them except on May 11, against Toulouse FC, which could be his last home match before departing.

How many trophies will Mbappé win this season?

Mbappé already has the Trophée des Champions to his name this season, and PSG will play Olympique Lyonnais in the Coupe de France final. Assuming PSG can defeat Lyon, which they did comfortably last September, that will be two trophies for Mbappé. Then there’s Ligue 1, where PSG holds a 10-point lead over Stade Brestois at the top of the table. That makes three trophies, but as we all know, it’s the Champions League he and PSG want to win. Against Barcelona, PSG was largely outplayed but still only found themselves down a goal with 90 minutes to play. Achraf Hakimi returns from suspension, and Bradley Barcola and Warren Zaïre-Emery will be healthier and capable of playing a full match. If PSG can advance past Barcelona, a run to the final is a very real possibility. Four trophies would cement Mbappé’s legacy at PSG and likely lead to a statue of his likeness outside the stadium once he retires.

Could Mbappé stay at PSG?

As we’ve seen in this saga in previous years, you never say never. I do think the situation with the Summer Olympics and whether Real Madrid will let him participate could be a breaking point, but in the end, I think Mbappé will be wearing a different kit next season. He’s done almost everything he can at PSG and the time is right for both to move on.
