Transfer News: PSG Remains in Contact to Land Ex-Barcelona Winger This Summer

Paris Saint-Germain sporting advisor Luis Campos will need to be tactical with the players he brings in this summer and ensure they fit into the project that needs to be built around Kylian Mbappé.

Furthermore, the Portuguese club chief must also consider the finances that currently trouble the French giants. As a result, Campos could revisit a winter transfer target, as Foot Mercato (h/t Paris Fans) reported on Monday, citing sources, PSG remains in contact with Zenit’s Malcolm.

Malcolm wants to play in Europe once again as he eyes a return to the Brazilian national team with the 2024 Copa América on the horizon. The 26-year-old will also have interest from other clubs, so the Russian side could secure a nice fee.

The French media outlet adds that Zenit expects a transfer fee of €30 million and €35 million for the winger, who has scored 19 goals in 26 appearances in all competitions. Malcolm is under contract until 2027, so Zenit doesn’t need to part ways with him if they don’t receive an offer they like.
